- Nacee joins list of celebrities endorsing NDC
Ghanaian musician Nacee has unveiled two new songs in support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the country approaches the December 7, 2024 elections. The new tracks are centered around the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy policy, which aims to implement a structured system to ensure round-the-clock services across various workplaces and institutions through a three-shift system.
The songs, characterized by their catchy melodies and danceable grooves, align with the party’s ideologies and encourage Ghanaians to vote for the NDC’s presidential candidate in the upcoming elections. Known for his successful political campaign songs, Nacee has previously written and produced tracks for the NDC, including popular songs such as ‘E Dey Be,’ ‘Onaapo,’ ‘Mahama Okada,’ and the NDC victory song.
Nacee has expressed strong support for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama. In an interview with ChannelOne TV during the NDC Manifesto launch in Winneba on August 24, 2024, the ‘Aseda’ singer expressed his confidence in Mahama’s ability to advance the nation based on his past achievements. “I believe he can do it because when President Mahama was on the seat, he did a couple of things, and he has done those things before,” Nacee said.
Nacee is among several notable figures in the creative arts who have publicly endorsed the NDC for the forthcoming elections. Other supporters from the entertainment industry include Big Akwes, Christiana Awuni, Mercy Asiedu, Jack Alolome, and Kofi Okyere Darko.
