Ghanaian Gospel artist Empress Gifty Adorye has addressed controversy surrounding her bold fashion statements, confidently asserting her right to wear sexy bodycon outfits.
In an interview with Serwaa Amihere on GhOne TV, Empress Gifty questioned the notion that Gospel artists should dress conservatively. “Which rule forbids Gospel musicians from looking good?” she asked.
Empress Gifty expressed her fondness for tight-fitting clothing, saying, “I love wearing tight clothes. It enhances my curves and makes me look good.” She dismissed notions that Gospel musicians should dress plainly, adding, “Why should I dress anyhow just because I am a Gospel musician?”
Notably, Empress Gifty revealed that her stylish outfits are sponsored. “The dresses, wigs, and accessories are all sponsored. I don’t pay for anything,” she stated.
