The festival, a traditional harvest celebration running from June to early August, culminates in the vibrant Kadooment Day parade, which features Barbadian music, arts, food, and culture.

In a captivating video shared on social media, Ayra Starr and Rihanna were seen wearing intricately designed bodysuits adorned with elaborate feathery headpieces and oversized wings. The two stars were captured engaging warmly, sharing a hug, and reveling in the festival’s festivities.

Rihanna had previously expressed interest in collaborating with Ayra Starr following their encounter at the Fenty X Puma party in London this April. Ayra Starr, whose birth name is Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, achieved widespread acclaim with her 2021 hit “Bloody Samaritan” and has continued to gain prominence under Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
