The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has initiated the process to select its presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
In an announcement on Monday, the CPP stated that prospective candidates can collect nomination forms starting from Wednesday, July 24 until Friday, August 2, 2024. The forms, available at the party secretariat, require a fee of GH¢20,000.
Additionally, individuals who paid for nominations in 2023 are exempt from paying again but must still obtain the forms. The nomination fee stands at GH¢300,000.
The party has scheduled the vetting of presidential hopefuls for Tuesday, August 6, 2024, and Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
