KOA Natural, a leading producer of cocoa-based beverages, has highlighted the importance of its sponsorship for the upcoming ‘Back to Your Village Food Festival,’ emphasizing the strong alignment with its brand values and mission.

Speaking on the Breakfast Daily show on Channel One TV on Wednesday, March 26, Ato Kwamena Appiah, Sales Operations Lead of KOA Natural, explained that the company views the festival as a perfect opportunity to showcase the cultural and economic significance of cocoa. “We have collaborated with Citi FM and Channel One on various events, but this one holds particular importance for us. Our products pair well with many Ghanaian dishes, and as we celebrate Ghana Month, what better product to highlight than cocoa?” he said. “Cocoa represents our heritage and plays a vital role in our economy. By sponsoring this event, we strengthen this connection and raise awareness about the quality of our cocoa-based products.”
Appiah emphasized that KOA Natural’s sponsorship goes beyond promoting products, focusing on supporting Ghanaian farmers and stimulating local economic growth.
“While you may think you’re just enjoying a refreshing drink, you’re actually supporting the life of a farmer somewhere in a village,” he noted. “This event provides a great chance to acknowledge the hard work that goes into Ghana’s cocoa industry. If we are returning to our roots and celebrating what we have, this initiative is truly commendable, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
The ‘Back to Your Village Food Festival,’ organized by Channel One TV and supported by Citi 97.3 FM, will take place at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30. The event promises an exciting culinary experience, highlighting Ghana’s rich traditional cuisines in an engaging and culturally immersive atmosphere.
