Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Majority Leader and MP for Effutu, has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidates and supporters to set aside internal disagreements and focus on achieving a decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.

Addressing attendees at the NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, Afenyo-Markin highlighted the urgency of the situation and called for unity in their efforts. He underscored the importance of collective action to secure a parliamentary majority in the upcoming polls.

“There is no time to address internal disputes; we need to get to work immediately. With only a few months remaining, I urge you all to rally behind our cause. Let’s finish strong and work tirelessly for our victory. Parliamentary candidates, put reconciliation behind you and focus on campaigning relentlessly,” Afenyo-Markin stated.

“Engage with every household. We cannot afford to be bogged down by disagreements. Fight for the party with the same passion as you would for a loved one. We need to bolster our numbers in Parliament and secure a win together,” he added.
