“Use Protection if You’re Not Ready for Parenthood” – KiDi

- KiDi plans to marry and have two more kids in the future
Ghanaian musician KiDi, born Dennis Nana Dwamena, has urged young individuals to utilize contraceptives if they are unprepared for parenthood. In a recent interview with Doreen Avio on JoyNews’ LTS, KiDi emphasized the challenges of raising children, particularly when they arrive early in life.
KiDi stressed the importance of planning for children, stating, “My first piece of advice is to wear condoms if you’re not ready or if you’re at a point in your life where you can’t bring another human being into this world. Use protection, no matter the circumstances. Even though children bring immense blessings into our lives, it’s important to plan for them and ensure you can fully enjoy the blessings God has given you.”
Despite his busy schedule, KiDi prioritizes spending quality time with his son, currently residing in London. “I never want to be the celebrity who abandons his child. It’s challenging with all the travel, but I ensure that whenever I’m near him, we spend as much time together as possible, especially on weekends when he’s not in school,” he shared.
Looking to the future, KiDi expressed his desire to marry and have two additional children. “I definitely want more kids when the time is right. I’ve always told myself I wanted three kids, so I have two more to go. I also want to get married and start a family, but not right now. It will all happen when the time is right,” he concluded.
