Speaking at the NDC’s Youth Townhall Meeting in Accra, Mahama highlighted his dedication to addressing significant issues impacting Ghanaians.

He reiterated his promise to eliminate both the Electronic Levy (E-Levy) and the betting winnings tax if he is elected.

Mahama criticized the E-Levy for failing to meet its revenue targets and for placing undue financial pressure on citizens. His campaign proposals are part of a broader effort to tackle the country’s urgent economic challenges.

Additionally, Mahama advocated for a more efficient approach to exporting local talent, criticizing the current system that drives professionals abroad due to economic conditions.
