Election 2024: Voting NPP Means Endorsing Impunity – Mahama
- Mahama urges vote against NPP.
- Blames NPP for economic crisis.
- Warns of impunity if NPP re-elected.
- Seeks support for change in Upper West region tour.
John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 general election. He cites the NPP’s alleged mismanagement of state resources and corruption.
Addressing rallies in Nadowli and Wichaw, Mahama emphasized the economic crisis facing Ghana. He attributed this to the NPP’s corruption and poor governance.
Mahama warned that re-electing the NPP would endorse impunity and economic hardship. “Voting NPP means tolerating their harmful actions,” he stated.
He emphasized that Ghanaians must send a strong message that the NPP’s actions are unacceptable. Mahama encouraged citizens to hold the NPP accountable for their economic mismanagement.
The NDC flagbearer continued his Upper West region tour, visiting areas including Funsi, Nabulo, Tumu, and Gwollu.
Mahama’s message resonated with locals, who expressed concerns about Ghana’s economic future. The NDC’s campaign focuses on restoring economic stability and combating corruption.
Mahama’s tour aims to rally support and emphasize the need for change. Ghanaians will head to the polls on December 7 to decide their country’s direction.
