Striker Jamie Reid has been recalled to the Northern Ireland national team squad for their upcoming Nations League fixtures against Belarus and Bulgaria.
Reid missed the team’s September matches due to an unspecified medical condition but has since recovered and is ready to contribute.
The Stevenage forward impressed last season with 22 goals in League One and has already made four appearances for Northern Ireland, including scoring on his debut.
Manager Michael O’Neill will be without striker Shayne Lavery due to a hamstring injury, but the squad welcomes the return of several other players, including Jordan Thompson and Brodie Spencer, who were sidelined in September.
Northern Ireland will face Belarus in Hungary on October 12th before hosting Bulgaria at Windsor Park three days later.
