Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin has announced her intention to embark on a spiritual journey with hopes of becoming a prophetess, contingent upon divine ordainment. The actress, known for her roles in films such as Foreigner’s God, No Man’s Land, and The Storm, made this revelation during an interview on the Afternoon Show on Wednesday, September 4.
Mumin, who has previously attracted attention for some controversial comments, shared that the concept of becoming a prophetess has not been foreign to her. Raised in a Christian home, she credits her upbringing with laying the groundwork for this spiritual aspiration.
Reflecting on her childhood, Mumin recounted her experiences as a dedicated prayer warrior. She described receiving divine insights and revelations during her early years, which she believes might have been signs of her potential prophetic calling. “I could see things when I prayed, and I was part of a prayer warrior. As little as I was, each time I prayed, I saw things and that scared me,” she said.
When queried about the possibility of her future as a prophetess, Mumin responded affirmatively, suggesting that it is a feasible outcome given her background and upbringing. “It’s not far-fetched for me to become a prophetess, given my background and the values instilled in me from a young age. Someday, if God permits,” she affirmed.
