The Black Princesses, Ghana’s national women’s U-20 football team, played to a 0-0 draw against Mexico in an international friendly match on Thursday evening.
The game was part of both teams’ preparations for the upcoming 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Colombia from August 31 to September 22.
The Black Princesses will kick off their World Cup campaign against Austria on September 2, followed by matches against Japan and New Zealand.
This will be Ghana’s seventh appearance in the competition since their debut in 2010.
The friendly match took place at the Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogota, Colombia, as both teams continued to fine-tune their strategies for the World Cup.
