“NDC Wanted To Recruit Me For Political Gains” – Efia Odo
- Efia Odo exposes NDC's attempt to recruit her for political gain
- She alleges some group members were moles, working against her advocacy
- Efia Odo refuses to be silenced, saying she's "just a bad bitch speaking the truth"
Socialite Efia Odo has revealed that members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) approached her with proposals to join their party, leveraging her advocacy against bad governance for political gain.
In a recent statement, Efia Odo disclosed that leading figures in the NDC had made promises to her, aiming to harness her activism to bolster their political standing. “That’s also one of the reasons why I stopped,” she explained. “Allegedly, some of the people that were in the group were NPP people, and they were taking information from the group and were giving it to the NPP people.”
She further revealed that members of the NDC were also financially incentivized. “Some people from the group were also getting paid by the NDC,” she said. “That is why one NDC person called me and wanted to have dinner with me on how I can basically direct this energy to NDC. How when NDC comes, they can promise me this, they can do this for me.”
Odo expressed her frustration with the situation, saying, “The thing became too political, and I was just a bad bitch speaking the truth and shedding light on the problems we have.”
