Dr. Bawumia’s statement comes after Parliament passed the Promotion of Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, also known as the anti-LGBTQ Bill, which awaits presidential assent.

Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by several dignitaries, including government ministers, parliamentary candidates, and party executives. The event was part of Dr. Bawumia’s constituency-focused campaign tour of the Upper East Region, where he engaged with constituents and reiterated his commitment to upholding Ghana’s values.
