Technical Issues Resolved in Limited Voter Registration – EC

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana announces the successful resolution of technical difficulties that marred the start of the Limited Voter Registration exercise.

According to the EC, challenges such as malfunctioning machines and network issues hindered registration on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

In a released statement, the EC clarified that internet connectivity problems in various registration centers led to delays in the commencement of the registration process.

However, by midday, the majority of these technical hurdles were addressed, allowing for a smooth continuation of the registration process nationwide.

The EC assures the public of continued monitoring of the registration process and pledges to promptly tackle any further issues that may arise.

Encouraging all eligible individuals, the Commission urges them to seize the opportunity and register to vote in their respective districts.
