President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cautioned Ghanaians against supporting former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Speaking at a rally in Doboro, he expressed doubts about Mahama’s ability to advance the nation, emphasizing his lack of confidence in Mahama’s leadership.
Addressing supporters after a visit to Blue Skies Limited in the Greater Accra region, President Akufo-Addo urged citizens to participate in the ongoing Limited Voter registration exercise.
He emphasized the importance of voting, stating, “Your vote is your power.”
Akufo-Addo underscored his concerns about Mahama’s potential impact, stating, “I can’t hand over to someone I defeated twice and is not happy with everything I do, he will destroy the work that I have done.” Instead, he advocated for Dr. Bamwua, expressing confidence in his ability to continue the progress made during his tenure.
