A 40-year-old palm wine tapper, Kwame Chelsea, has been apprehended in Sefwi Donkorkrom for having sexual intercourse with a pregnant goat.
The incident, has, sent shockwaves through the farming community.
An eyewitness, a Fulani herdsman, reported seeing Mr. Chelsea with the goat and alerted the residents.
The herdsman further claimed to have filmed the encounter and refused a bribe from Mr. Chelsea to keep quiet.
Following the incident, the community performed cleansing rituals led by Nana Kwame Nyame II, the chief of Sefwi Donkorkrom.
The chief appealed to the public for forgiveness for Mr. Chelsea and pledged additional rituals to ward off any potential misfortune.
Mr. Chelsea admitted to the act and expressed remorse. He pleaded for forgiveness from the community and vowed not to repeat the offense.
