Maame Samma Peprah Appointed Acting Registrar of Companies

Maame Samma Peprah has officially taken over as the Acting Registrar of Companies (ROC) in Accra, following a brief handover ceremony on Monday, March 17. She succeeds Jemima M. Oware, who held the position from March 2022 to February 2025.
During the handover, Mrs. Oware expressed her gratitude to the management and staff of the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) for their support throughout her tenure. She also highlighted the achievements of the institution under her leadership and encouraged the team to extend the same cooperation to her successor.
“I urge management to provide the necessary support to the new Registrar so she can build on the progress we’ve made together,” she stated. Mrs. Oware also assured Maame Samma Peprah that she would be available for guidance if needed and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration for a smooth transition.
In her remarks, Maame Samma Peprah thanked her predecessor for the warm welcome and positive working relationship. She stressed the significance of teamwork at all levels to advance the institution’s goals.
“I look forward to working closely with management and staff to serve the greater good of the organization,” she stated. She also recognized Mrs. Oware’s extensive knowledge and experience and expressed her readiness to benefit from her guidance to further strengthen the institution.
With a focus on continuity and progress, the new Acting Registrar of Companies is set to build on the strong foundation laid by her predecessor while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
