John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, has once again taken a jab at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, accusing him of poor economic stewardship.

In response to Bawumia’s recent bid for the presidency based on his track record as Vice President, Mahama asserted that Ghanaians would grade Bawumia’s economic performance with an ‘F’.

Speaking at a community event in Amanfrom during the second phase of his Greater Accra regional campaign, Mahama called out the current government for its failure to address the country’s economic woes, suggesting they should own up to the challenges faced.

“Recently, I heard Bawumia boasting about his supposed excellence as Vice President and asking for a promotion to President. Well, if anyone’s marking his report card, it’s clear that the grade Ghanaians would assign him for his economic management is an F — which stands for fail. They’ve utterly failed us economically and can’t avoid responsibility for the dire situation we’re in.”
