Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed, MP for Asawase Constituency, has donated furniture to support education in his area.

On September 11, 2024, he gave 200 tables and chairs each to three Senior High Schools. This donation is part of his annual initiative to replace broken furniture in schools.

In addition, 30 basic schools received children’s round tables and chairs, and 14 schools got dual desks. Muntaka emphasized his commitment to ensuring no child in his constituency writes on the floor.

He finds it disheartening to see children sitting on the floor on TV news broadcasts. Since becoming MP, Muntaka has focused on education, increasing the number of Senior High Schools from one to six.

He has also used his common fund to sponsor ten medical doctors from the constituency. Muntaka warned against constructing high-rise buildings near Aboabo Post Office Basic School, stressing the land is for the school.

He urged constituents to vote for him and former President John Dramani Mahama, promising a peaceful campaign focused on manifesto policies.
