Kennedy Agyapong, the outspoken MP for Assin Central, has issued a strong warning to New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Essikado-Ketan constituency, urging them not to underestimate the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) parliamentary candidate, Dr. Grace Danquah.
At the campaign launch for NPP’s Charles Bissue on Saturday, Agyapong emphasized that maintaining the seat, which has been under NPP control for two decades, will require intense effort. He urged supporters to go door-to-door and actively promote their candidate.
Agyapong highlighted Dr. Danquah’s previous strong performance, noting she secured 24,000 votes against the incumbent’s 26,000.
He warned that any complacency could result in a loss, stressing the need for unity and vigorous campaigning to secure victory.
