NPP Showcases Achievements Ahead of 2024 Polls

The NPP government has responded to criticisms from the opposition NDC by showcasing a series of significant projects completed under the Akufo-Bawumia administration. As the 2024 general elections approach, the NDC has questioned the current government’s achievements, accusing them of economic mismanagement and excessive borrowing from the IMF.

In defence, the NPP outlined the achievements of the Akufo-Bawumia government, urging Ghanaians to disregard the NDC’s allegations and vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections. The NPP highlighted 55 completed projects in the Volta region, including the construction of a 5000-seater stadium in Adaklu, a dual carriageway from Sokode-Gbogame to Ho, and the Ho Central Market.

Other notable accomplishments include the District Hospital in Wheta, Ketu North, the Naval Training Command in Nutekpor, South Dayi, and the Cassava Processing Factory in Kave, Ketu North. The NPP government also highlighted various road construction projects, including the Hohoe Town Roads and the Ho-Akatsi road.

In addition, the government showcased several education-related projects, such as the construction of a Health Insurance Office at Dzolokpuita, the Rice Processing Factory by Spring Agro Industries in Adidome, and the Community Water System at Torgome.

The government also emphasized its commitment to improving healthcare, highlighting projects such as the Agenda 111 initiative, which includes hospitals at Dzolokpuita, Ho West, Ave Dakpa, Akatsi North, Anloga, and Kpeve.

The NPP government has called on Ghanaians to consider these achievements and vote for continuity in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of sustaining the progress made under the Akufo-Bawumia administration.

By highlighting these achievements, the NPP government aims to demonstrate its commitment to development and progress, and to reassure Ghanaians that it is the best party to lead the country forward.
