Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has revealed that her only interaction with actor and producer Kwadwo ‘Lil Win’ Nkansah was when he reached out to her for a favor.

In an exclusive interview with Prince Benjamin (PB) on Accra 100.5 FM’s Entertainment Capital, Ankomah disclosed that the communication took place on April 27, 2019, at 10:38 AM, as recorded on her phone. “You know the iPhone keeps records. So, this was the only time Lil Win called me and asked for a favor with the very GTP he insulted me with,” Ankomah said.

She elaborated that she had reached out to GTP on his behalf and was uncertain whether Lil Win had followed up with them. “God being so good, I spoke to GTP. I don’t know if he went to see them or not. But, if Lil Win would speak the truth, he reached out to thank me afterwards,” she added.

Ankomah noted that she also provided Lil Win with a contact number and offered further assistance if needed. “I also sent him a number for him to call, adding that they had assured him he would be given a good deal. I asked him to reach out to me in case he needed further assistance. That’s the only time I ever spoke to Lil Win. I’ve not seen him physically before,” she stated.

According to Ankomah, Lil Win, who was seeking a GTP collaboration for his Great Minds International School in Kumasi, reached out to her because he was informed that she was the GTP brand ambassador. The school was established in 2018, and the collaboration deal was pursued in 2019.

A GHS 5 million defamation lawsuit filed by Martha Ankomah against Lil Win surfaced online on February 14, 2024. Ankomah revealed that since filing the lawsuit, she has not seen Lil Win or any representative of his in court. The case is currently before Justice Forson Agyapong Baah of the Accra High Court, with proceedings set to resume in October due to a judiciary vacation.
