Two Hyundai Vehicles Catch Fire

Two Hyundai H100 vehicles were destroyed by fire after a head-on collision at Apark Zongo, near Sir Teeray’s Complex, around 10:05 p.m.

The vehicles, bearing registration numbers GR 4965-17 and GX 5215-14, caught fire shortly after the impact.

Firefighters from the Koforidua Municipal Fire Station, led by STNO II Dzaka, responded promptly and successfully extinguished the flames within 30 minutes.

While the front ends of both vehicles suffered severe damage, the swift response by the fire team prevented the blaze from spreading to surrounding structures and equipment.

Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
