President John Mahama will today, January 7, mark his first anniversary in office with a non-denominational thanksgiving service at the forecourt of the Jubilee House in Accra.

The ceremony, set for 8:00 a.m., is expected to bring together religious leaders, top government officials, members of the diplomatic community, and invited guests to reflect on the Mahama administration’s first year in power.

Organised under the theme “Resetting. Rebuilding. Renewing.”, the service seeks to express gratitude for the nation’s stability over the past year while reinforcing the government’s commitment to national renewal and inclusive governance.

The thanksgiving service forms part of events commemorating President Mahama’s one year in office and represents a moment of reflection, unity, and renewed dedication as the administration moves into its second year.
