Politician and husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko, has defended his support for polygamy, expressing sympathy for men who have only one wife.

The billionaire explained that polygamy provides men with greater stability and balance, easing the pressures of marriage.

When asked how he manages six wives—a feat many men would find nearly impossible—Nwoko confidently stated that it comes naturally to him.

“That’s a discussion for another time. But yes, every man should consider it. Imagine being asked to stand on one leg—it’s tough. But when you have two, three, or four legs, you’re more stable. That’s the analogy I use. I feel for those with only one wife; it’s like standing on one leg—it’s hard,” he said.

When reminded that the Bible doesn’t endorse polygamy, Nwoko replied, “The Old Testament does. I’m a man of faith. But that’s not why we’re here today.”

Asked if he had any regrets about his marital choices, he said no.

“No, I have no regrets. I would do the same thing again. Marriage should be about marrying who you want,” he stated.

Nwoko made these remarks during an interview on Channels Television, where he was also questioned about the ongoing marital challenges with Regina Daniels.

He denied all allegations of domestic violence made by Daniels, who recently posted emotionally charged messages implying she had experienced abuse.

“Come on, you know I’m not violent. I respect my wives. I love them and my children,” he said.

His statements came just hours after Regina Daniels showcased a new mansion on Instagram amid mounting reports of a possible separation.
