The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has reported that a damaged transmission line has caused a power outage in Sogakope and surrounding communities.
In a statement issued by GRIDCo’s Corporate Communications on Sunday, October 26, 2025, the company said the incident occurred around 4:01 p.m., disrupting electricity supply to the area.
GRIDCo noted that its line maintenance team has been dispatched to repair the fault and restore power as quickly as possible.
The company also apologized to affected residents for the inconvenience and assured them of efforts to restore supply promptly.
