The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have returned to Nigeria from London, where he passed away on Sunday.
The body arrived at approximately 1:59 p.m. aboard a flight accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and members of Buhari’s family.
President Bola Tinubu, along with other relatives of the late former president, was present at the airport to receive the body.
Following the arrival, the remains were transported to Daura, Buhari’s hometown, where he will be laid to rest.
