ENI Completes Gas Infrastructure Upgrade

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has announced the successful completion of a key infrastructure upgrade by ENI, boosting Ghana’s gas supply capacity from 245 million to 270 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd).
Describing the development as a major achievement, the Ministry noted that the enhanced capacity marks a vital step toward ensuring a stable and sustainable energy supply for the country.
“This increase in supply will bolster the power sector and play a crucial role in supporting Ghana’s economic growth,” the Ministry stated.
Gratitude was extended to ENI and all stakeholders in the energy sector for their dedication in executing the upgrade. The Ministry also acknowledged the support and patience of the Ghanaian public throughout the project.
“We deeply appreciate the cooperation of citizens during this process. Your support is key as we move toward a more resilient and cleaner energy future,” the statement read.
