Nigerian comedian Helen Paul recently sparked a discussion on Instagram by suggesting that women’s salaries should be directly deposited into their husbands’ bank accounts.
In her post, she invited other women to share their thoughts on the matter. While some agreed with her proposal, others voiced their disagreement in the comments.
Paul, known for her comedic persona “Tatafo” on a popular Nigerian radio show, has a history of addressing societal issues in a humorous and satirical manner.
She has ventured into music as well, releasing her debut album “Welcome Party” in July 2012, which featured songs covering various genres including Afro-Pop and Afro RnB.
One of her singles, “Never Knew,” released in 2018, reflects on her personal and professional journey.
Paul, who holds a doctorate in Theater Arts from the University of Lagos, continues to engage audiences with her comedic talent and thought-provoking commentary.
