Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the founder of the Movement for Change, is urging clergy members to voice their concerns when they witness missteps in the country’s governance.
During a campaign tour in Koforidua, he emphasized the importance of religious leaders playing an active role in steering the nation towards the right path.
Alan Kyerematen stressed that beyond casting votes, it’s crucial for men of the cloth to speak out when the nation veers off course.
He addressed a gathering of clergy from various denominations, including the Anglican Church, Reigning Power Gospel International Church, and others, encouraging them to be discerning in their choice for leadership.
Furthermore, Alan Kyerematen highlighted the significance of selecting leaders based on their vision, competence, and proactive approach rather than mere adherence to political manifestos.
He pledged to engage both clergy and traditional rulers in his administration, recognizing their invaluable contribution to national development and problem-solving.
In response, Rt Rev. Felix Annancy, speaking on behalf of his fellow clergy members, affirmed their commitment to assessing political leaders’ visions to determine the best direction for the country’s governance.
They emphasized the need for transformative plans and visions to address Ghana’s challenges effectively.
