Tottenham Hotspur and Ghana forward Mohammed Kudus has spoken about how grateful he is for the supportive environment at Spurs, which allows him to fully express his technical skills.
Known for his eye-catching dribbling, Kudus has sometimes been criticized for his flair-driven style. Since his move from West Ham in East London to Tottenham in North London, he has embraced the freedom to take on defenders, thriving in a system that encourages creativity and confidence in attack.
“Whenever I take on a player, I just keep trying repeatedly. Even if I fail the first, second, or third time, I keep going. I’m happy to be in an environment where I’m encouraged to keep trying, not play it safe after a few mistakes, because the next attempt could be the goal,” Kudus said in an interview with the Premier League’s UNCUT series.
He added, “It’s really meaningful to be in a place where the players and staff understand and appreciate you, putting you in a position to use your strengths to make an impact. I feel that support here, and I truly value it because I’m not held back.”
This season, Kudus has featured in ten Premier League matches, scoring once and providing four assists, underlining his growing influence in Tottenham’s attacking play.
