Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has praised Mohammed Kudus along with two other standout Premier League performers this season.
The Ghanaian international, who joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for £55 million, has made an immediate impact, recording five assists and one goal in nine league appearances.
In an interview with Sporty TV, Drogba was asked which players have impressed him this season. He said:
“I like Kudus. I used to like [Nicolas] Jackson because I saw a lot of similarities [with myself]. And of course, my brother, Mohammed Salah, King Salah.”
Kudus has been among the most influential wingers in Europe’s top five leagues this season, topping the charts for assists, accurate crosses, duels won, and successful attacking actions.
The 24-year-old will look to continue his fine form when Tottenham take on Chelsea in a much-anticipated London derby this weekend.
