Sarkodie was reportedly unaware that self-styled doomsday prophet Ebo Noah would appear on stage at the 2025 Rapperholic concert, according to the rapper’s official DJ, DJ Mensah.
One of the most talked-about moments of the 2025 December in GH festivities was Ebo Noah’s unexpected appearance at Sarkodie’s flagship event. Earlier, Noah had predicted a catastrophic flood on the same day and claimed he would provide arks in anticipation of the disaster.
After Noah’s appearance on the Rapperholic stage on December 25, 2025, many questioned why Sarkodie would allow the controversial figure to use such a prestigious platform, with critics dismissing the act as a publicity stunt.
However, speaking to Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, DJ Mensah clarified that Sarkodie had no prior knowledge of Noah’s presence.
“Sarkodie was not even aware he was coming,” Mensah told host Kwame Dadzie. “Sometimes we have to surprise Sarkodie; it’s the event organizers.”
Following the concert, Ebo Noah was arrested, prompting Sarkodie to publicly comment on the development. The rapper questioned the grounds for the arrest, insisting that Noah was simply creating content and had not committed a crime.
On January 2, 2026, Sarkodie shared a video of Noah in handcuffs being escorted into a police vehicle on Instagram, captioning it: “Don’t know exactly what my boy’s crime is, but from day one I knew he was making content, unless he’s been charged with something else.”
Ebo Noah had gone viral in late 2025 after predicting a three-year flood that he claimed would destroy the world, starting on December 25, 2025. His arrest has reignited debates over the line between content creation and criminality in such controversial prophecies.
