Ghanaian music star King Promise has disclosed that his parents have started pressuring him about having children, even though he says he is not yet ready for marriage.

Speaking in an interview with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year revealed that his parents have openly expressed their wish for a grandchild.

“They tell me, ‘all these children you feature in your videos, why don’t you give us a grandchild?’” he shared.

King Promise explained that although he has met many women over the years, he feels the time is not right for him to settle down just yet. He said he is still finding his way in life but is confident that marriage will come in time.

“I’m still a young man navigating life. As I grow older, I will definitely settle down,” he said.

The singer also noted a change in what he looks for in a life partner, explaining that physical appearance is no longer his main focus. “Now it’s not about looks. If I feel you, I feel you,” he added.

Meanwhile, King Promise is gearing up for his Promised Land concert, scheduled for December 30, 2025, at Ghud Park.
