The newborn baby who went missing from the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital has been found safe and in good health, according to police reports.

The baby’s mother, Felicia Obenewaa, said she was contacted by police after a woman brought the infant to the station. The woman reportedly explained that an unknown person had handed her the baby for temporary care but never returned to collect the child.

Sources reveal that Mrs. Obenewaa had visited the hospital for a postnatal check-up when the incident occurred. While there, she was approached by a young woman who struck up a conversation and offered to help.

Mrs. Obenewaa briefly left her baby with the woman to use the washroom, only to return and discover that both the stranger and her baby were gone.
