Mackristy Academy has reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence after achieving remarkable results in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Speaking to Adom News, Assistant Headteacher Edmund Asamoah expressed pride in the school’s stellar performance, describing it as a clear reflection of Mackristy Academy’s strong academic culture and dedication to holistic education.
This year’s BECE candidates produced impressive aggregate scores of 7, 8, 9, and 10, placing them among the top achievers nationwide. Mr. Asamoah explained that students who scored aggregates 7 and 8 showed outstanding proficiency in both core and elective subjects, while those with aggregates 9 and 10 demonstrated strong consistency, discipline, and understanding across all exam areas.
“This excellent performance is a testament to the hard work of our teachers, the commitment of our students, and the unwavering support of parents and guardians,” he said. “It also highlights the effective teaching and learning strategies implemented throughout the academic year.”
He encouraged the graduates to sustain their high standards as they advance to senior high school, noting that they are well-prepared for the next stage of their academic journey. He also congratulated all candidates nationwide for their achievements.
Founder and Director, Mark Odame, praised the teachers for their dedication and resilience, which he said were crucial to achieving this milestone.
