Ojeyz Security Management Limited, a Ghanaian-owned private security company, has recognized Private Solomon Asare Teye-Tsu for his exceptional integrity and patriotic service.
The 30-year-old soldier, stationed with the Ghana Armed Forces’ Department of Public Relations at Burma Camp, was on guard duty at the Bibiani Gold Mine in the Western Region last year when he encountered illegal miners attempting to bribe him for access to restricted galamsey pits.
Rather than accepting the substantial offer, Pte. Teye-Tsu upheld his duty, arrested the offenders, and handed them over to authorities for prosecution.
In recognition of his ethical conduct and professionalism, Ojeyz Security, which provides site security at the Bibiani Gold Mine, presented him with an Outstanding Staff Recognition Award. The citation, signed by the company’s CEO and founder, Capt. Haruna Adamu (Rtd.), praised his “commendable performance and unwavering dedication.”
Pte. Teye-Tsu, originally from Odumase-Krobo, joined the military in 2023 and is an alumnus of Manya Krobo SHS and King David College.
In response to the honour, he expressed humble gratitude, saying, “I feel greatly honoured and fired up.”
Engineer Philip Tetteh Padi, Commissioner of Kloma Gbi, a Krobo-based youth advocacy group, applauded the soldier’s “pure sacrifice,” noting that integrity is rare in a society where instant gratification often overshadows principle.
Ojeyz Security is a respected private security provider serving government agencies, diplomatic missions, and major industrial clients nationwide.
