A destructive fire has razed several shops at the Juaboso Market in the Western North Region, leaving five stores completely destroyed. The blaze occurred earlier today.
Eyewitnesses said the fire began in one shop and quickly spread to neighboring stores due to the close proximity of the buildings and the presence of flammable materials.
The affected shops, owned by fashion designers, hairstylists, and second-hand goods traders, were entirely lost, with all items inside destroyed.
While the cause of the fire remains unknown, the Ghana National Fire Service in Juaboso has launched an investigation. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
