A man from Sant Kabir Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh, India, has surprised many by arranging his wife’s marriage to her lover after uncovering their long-term affair.
Babloo and Radhika have been married since 2017 and share two children, aged 7 and 9. Due to Babloo’s frequent work-related absences, Radhika began a relationship with a younger man from their village.
The affair came to light when Babloo’s family informed him. Although Babloo initially tried to save the marriage, his efforts to reconcile with Radhika failed. Rather than resorting to conflict, he took the extraordinary step of legally marrying his wife to her lover. The new union was formalized in court and followed by a temple ceremony where Radhika and her lover exchanged garlands and vows.
A video from the ceremony went viral, showing a tearful Radhika marrying her lover in the presence of Babloo. Babloo’s sole condition was to retain custody of their two children, which Radhika agreed to.
