FISLA donates to Tarkwa orphanage

The Fire Service Ladies Association (FISLA) has donated to the Angels of Hope Orphanage in Tarkwa as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

Led by ADO I Wendy Abokoma, a team from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) presented various essential items along with a cash donation to support the home and uplift the children in their care.

The delegation, which included District Fire Officer DO II Alex Assiem, donated 3 packs of liquid soap, 2 gallons of liquid soap, 2 boxes of powdered soap, 2 packs of sanitary pads, 2 boxes of washing bar soap, 1 pack of baby wipes, and GH₵2,000.

The headmistress, staff, and children of the orphanage expressed deep gratitude and offered prayers for the team. They also appealed for more visits and sustained support to help meet the home’s ongoing needs.

FISLA’s 30th anniversary celebrations continue nationwide with similar community-centered activities.
