India Reopens 32 Airports After Ceasefire with Pakistan

On Monday, May 12, 2025, India announced the reopening of 32 airports that had been closed amid recent clashes with Pakistan, following a ceasefire agreement reached over the weekend.

According to a statement from the Airports Authority of India, the airports are now open for civil aviation operations with immediate effect.

Pakistan had already fully reopened its airspace on Saturday.

India’s leading airline, IndiGo, stated that it will gradually resume flights on the affected routes.
