Trent Alexander-Arnold Confirms End of 20-Year Stint at Liverpool

England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. After 20 years at the club, the 26-year-old is set to join Real Madrid when his contract expires on June 30.

In a heartfelt message on social media, Alexander-Arnold revealed, “This is easily the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.” He thanked Liverpool for the support he’s received during his time with the club, having made 352 appearances and won multiple trophies, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cups.

Despite ongoing contract talks with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold will depart after securing Liverpool’s 20th top-flight title under manager Arne Slot.
