A phone dealer has been found dead beneath the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the local office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the man had reportedly complained of severe stomach pain the night before his body was discovered early this morning.
It remains unclear whether the cause of death was due to the ingestion of a poisonous substance.
Confirming the incident to Adom News, the Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Nash Nyande Adams, stated that the deceased was a well-known mobile phone seller in the area.
“He mentioned experiencing stomach pain last night, and unfortunately, we found him dead this morning under the overpass,” Mr. Adams said.
The police have launched an investigation, but no further details have been released at this time.
