The Presidency has conveyed profound sorrow and regret over the passing of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
The widow of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings died on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
A statement, signed by the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, confirmed that she passed away following a brief illness.
The statement also offered condolences to the founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement and the National Democratic Party (NDP).
Meanwhile, many Ghanaians have taken to social media to mourn the loss of the former First Lady.
