The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes to 6,867 nurses and midwives eligible for enrolment in the 2026/2027 national service year.

The release marks the opening of registration for health professionals who completed their training in 2025, with enrolment scheduled to close on Thursday, January 23, 2026.

Online registration officially commenced on Monday, January 19, giving applicants a four-day window to complete the process and secure their postings.

Applicants are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢41.00 via Mobile Money on any network before accessing the enrolment portal. Once payment is made, candidates can retrieve their PIN codes from the NSA website (https://gnsa.gov.gh/home) using their student identification numbers and dates of birth.

The exercise applies exclusively to nurses and midwives who successfully passed the March and April 2025 Licensing Examinations, also referred to as the minor season, organised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. The Council submitted the list of qualified candidates to the NSA on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Announcing the release, NSA Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh encouraged eligible applicants to complete their registration promptly within the specified timeframe to avoid missing out on placement for the 2026/2027 service year.

The Authority explained that the PIN-code system is designed to streamline the enrolment process and ensure that only duly qualified professionals participate in the national service programme.
