Nana Appiagyei Dankawoso I, Omanhene Kyeame of the Asante Juaben Traditional Area, has urged graduates of the Jackson Institute of Technology to embrace emerging technologies as vital tools for national development and global security.
Speaking at the institute’s recent graduation ceremony, Nana Dankawoso highlighted the transformative role of technology in driving innovation, promoting development, and addressing critical societal challenges.
He also pointed out that many communities continue to face disadvantages due to limited access to education, employment opportunities, and digital infrastructure.
The traditional leader praised the Jackson Institute for extending its training programmes to Ghana’s national security services, noting that such initiatives empower security personnel to tackle modern threats more effectively.
He encouraged the graduates to apply their newly acquired skills in practical ways, remain adaptable in the face of technological change, and actively contribute to both national security and global peace.
