The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is set to hold its national and regional executive elections today, Monday, June 30, 2025, at designated polling centres across the country.
According to the GJA Election Committee, voting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m.
Eligible members can cast their votes by presenting valid identification—either a Ghana Card, Voter ID, or National Passport that bears their name and photo.
The committee stated that ballot counting, result announcements, and official declarations will occur immediately after voting ends at each polling centre. It also urged members to ignore a fake voters’ list circulating on social media, emphasizing that only the official register is valid for the election.
This election will usher in new leadership at both the national and regional levels to guide the association through its next term.
