Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has officially filed his nomination forms at the Electoral Commission headquarters.
He was joined by his wife Samira Bawumia, running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and his spouse Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh.
The event also saw notable party figures, including National Chairman Stephen Ntim, General Secretary Justin Koduah Frimpong, Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and other senior members, in attendance to show their support.
Meanwhile, National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to submit his nomination later today.
Bawumia aims to break the eight-year cycle and succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Ghana’s next leader.
