Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer transfers to OGC

- Ghanaian forward Königsdörffer to join OGC Nice for €6–7M
- Contract expected through 2029 after medical
- HSV to use funds for €8M move for Stefan Posch
Ghanaian striker Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer is close to sealing a move to French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, with a €6 million transfer fee agreed—potentially rising to €7 million—between Nice and Hamburger SV.
The two clubs have finalized terms, and the 23-year-old is scheduled to undergo his medical today. He is expected to sign a contract running through at least 2029.
The deal will provide funds for HSV’s €8 million move for Hoffenheim defender Stefan Posch, as Königsdörffer enters the final year of his current contract.
Königsdörffer was a key figure in HSV’s successful 2024/25 promotion campaign, netting 14 goals and providing 3 assists in 34 appearances, including a vital brace against Ulm that secured their Bundesliga return.
Having previously made Ghana’s preliminary squad for the 2022 World Cup, his rising profile aligns with Nice’s strategy of recruiting emerging talent from the Bundesliga.
